Getting Ready

Well, it is just a little under 72 hours until my surgery. I am holding up okay with occasional periods of crying - not being scared so much but more being grateful for all the support I am getting from all my friends and family. My old friend, Whitney is keeping me company and so is making this so much easier to handle and get through without complete falling apart or running away. I have been working on my to-do-list and it is almost complete, so in this respect I feel very much ready to go. Tomorrow Whit and I will spend having some fun in the city and finishing off the last few things that need to be done. Send me good healing and loving thoughts over the next few days - as I hold you all so dear in my heart.
