One of the lasting memories for me of this visit home will be most of my brothers and sister gathered around me, holding my hands, giving me hugs, whispering encouragement in my ears - while I cried a little about all that is going on. If I was in any doubt of their support, this scene put that doubt to rest and it gives me reassurance that things will work out okay. Even my father, who can be very logical about most things, even held me and said he understood my fears. These small things are so special to me - and I hold them very dear to me.
And now to have my Soma wanting to curl up on me and purr in ear, to use me as her knitting cushion almost makes my heart burst.
